I bought Sadie 3 plastic tubs and a bag of potting soil. Gave the girl a pitcher of water and all her bowls, spoons, scoops. She mixed, stirred, patted, and poured for 2 hours. You'll notice 2 or 3 pony tails and 2 bows. Grammy doesn't do so good with hair.

Today for lunch we went to Pappy's barn. I forgot a stroller so Alan and I carried Tessa to the garden in her high chair. She loved it.

Sadie showed me what she wanted to wear today. She picked out the summer strappy t-shirt. I told her she had to wear a shirt under the strappy T-shirt. She picked out the lime green t-shirt and the aqua shorts to go with it. I tried to persuade her to wear blue jean shorts but she said no, she wanted the blue (aqua) shorts.
So that's what my last 2 days have been like. Lots of giggles when Sadie flung mud on her face, giggles when Tessa plays patty-cake, great nap times for both girls, and lovin' on both girls!!!!!
til next time,

Ok Mom....before I read that Sadie picked out her clothes, I was appalled at what you put her in!! I think I am in for a battle when I get home. Once a girl starts picking out her clothes, there is no turning back! I'm so glad you are having fun!
Love you,
Judy
I told Sadie it was time for her to get dressed. We went into her closet and she pointed to that brightly colored top in her drawer. I told her no, let me look in this other drawer for a shirt and she said no, this one. So I took it out and she said yes. I tried to convince her otherwise but she insisted. So I grabbed some blue jean shorts and she said no, she saw those aqua shorts and then she pointed to that lime green shirt. She also wanted the brown suade shoes but I knew they were too little. But she knows I let her do things you wouldn't let her do, and I knew we were only going to the orchard. So don't worry, I don't think she'll do this with you! But she was so proud of her outfit!!!!

Cute grandkid stories. Keep them all in print as you will treasure them as years go by.
