Today I shuffled (jogged/walked) pushing my granddaughter, Sadie. Yeah, I finished day 3 of training! I used a jogging stroller, and it was harder than I thought it would be! The slight inclines in the neighborhood felt like mountains. I'm still shuffling the 60 seconds/walking the 90 seconds. In fact, I think I'll try it again tomorrow without the stoller, then the next day I'll move up to week 2 of the training program. Here's a picture of me and the set up I pushed today.

This is not a pretty picture but at least I'm trying. And as you can see I had pig tails! Since no one in the neighborhood knows me, I figured I could get away with it. I can't believe I'm smiling in that picture! I had just completed my walk and I was trying to catch my breath. But I did it!

Mom,
I am SO proud of you! You are an inspiration to me to get out there and shuffle myself! And the pigtails....well, I'll claim you anyway! I love you!

Hang in there Mimi. I admire your determination. If only I could get inspired to do the same.
